Initial matches will be decided randomly, with no seeding
The tournament will consist of 4 rounds of play, each taking place over a single Sunday from 12:00pm till 6:00pm.
Matches will be limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes each, taking your score at the end of the time limit.
Each round, players will be paired randomly against opponents with the same amount of wins. When this is not possible, players will be paired against an opponent with the closest amount of wins.
In the result of an odd-number of players, the player with the lowest ranking will be awarded a bye-round, counting as a match Win of 10-5 VP. (As an alternative, they may opt to play a ringer, counting as a Win, but with whatever score they are able to get in their ringer match)
Players should be on the grounds of MPT 15 minutes before the beginning of the next round.
Optional: Bring two Kill Teams. You may choose to switch to the other team before the next round pairing is decided, however you may not switch back after switching once.
Max 8 players
Tournament Games:
Players should use the Approved Ops 2025 mission pack for their games, randomly generating a mission and layout. Players can agree upon a Killzone, use the default Killzone:Volkus terrain from the shop, or each propose an official Killzone and roll off for whose preferred terrain set will be used.
Mistakes happen, but scores are considered to be final once submitted regardless of any misplays that happened during the game. Mana Potion Tabletop has a rulebook players can reference.
The Killteam App is considered the standard for any rule discrepancies. Ensure you have it updated, as some minor core rules have updated and are not reflected in the printed rulebook.
